The signature event of Rebuilding Together, this large-scale workday allows RTLB to complete 5 to 10 sites requiring various types of skilled work.
In order to serve as many deserving homeowners as possible, RTLB extends National Rebuilding Day – traditionally, the last Saturday in April – into an entire month.
During National Rebuilding Month, more than 150 Rebuilding Together affiliates across the country plan and execute projects to restore homes and non-profit facilities, thereby bringing national attention to the plight of America’s low- income homeowners and the communities in which they live.
RTLB completes projects requiring a wide range of levels of skill, from installing grab bars and painting walls to solving complex plumbing and electrical problems. Our goal is to finish all work needed for a given project in a single day, though sometimes this ‘speedy service’ is simply impossible.
Whether you think you have no construction-type skills at all or you are an experienced contractor, your assistance will always make a difference to the homeowners and non-profits we serve. Learn more about the ways you can contribute here.
